Splitting the time in 1/2 or even thirds and adjust the warmups and warm downs accordingly.

I live in a warm area but I do most of my cardio indoors anyway. I do the same thing you do though, mix it up to keep my body challenged. Right now I go from the treadmill to a jump rope to a heavy bag that I recently installed in my garage. I try and mix them up pretty evenly on cardio days.

    Plyo X today....

It's getting better and better but whenever I do this one I want to sleep after.

I've given up on Plyo X. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my hip a few weeks ago and I kept doing Plyo X with my regular workout but its too much impact. Great workout, but it hurts too much afterward.

Yeah, it's intense. Have you done Cardio X instead?

Well guys. In trying to break my plateau I started using nothing but dumbells this morning. I usually only do them for a couple of exercises and it definitely was more challenging then I anticipated and gave me a pretty good pump.

I've been doing hiit on my cardio days for about two months now. Should I do steady state instead for a while to change up?

I wouldn't do one or the other. Could do something steady in between a couple of HIIT sessions and then reverse that the following week. Something like that.

I dont have a set day, where I do a certain body part (because of college and my eractic schedule) but I'll do the following body parts in order:

    Chest
    Legs
    Arms (bi and tris)
    rest day
    abs and lower back
    shoulders and upper back
    rest day

I just did chest yesterday which consisted of:

    Bench

    14 reps @ 185
    8 reps @ 205
    6 reps @ 225
    6 reps @ 225
    Repped out at 155

    Incline DB Bench

    4 sets of 15 reps @ 50's

    Machine Chest Flys

    12 reps @ 115
    10 reps @ 130
    3 reps of negatives @ 175

I finished off by doing 3 sets of as many incline pushups as I could do until fatigued

I would incorporate decline bench into my routine, but they dont have decline bench at my schools rec, and the highest the dumbbells go up to is 50 pounds, so its hard to get in a good inlcine/decline workout

Feel free to critque my workout

Sprained my knee again doing Plyo X. It's more swollen than I've ever seen. FML.

No-Xplode is no joke man! I've used it in the past and it gets you jacked up to work out!

Also, the stair master isn't a joke either. I see girls on them all the time at the gym but I've tried them before and they leave your legs/glutes feeling like spaghetti.

A question for those of you that work out in the AM: Do you eat before you workout?? I'm always hungry when I wake up but don't want to eat a real mean right before going to do some cardio. I've been just eating like half a powerbar. This morning I had a tablespoon of peanut butter then a few bites of a powerbar - enough so I don't pass out once I get going. Ideas for something new would be good tho!
