Dang I haven't seen this thread in awhile. So far this year is starting off right for me, my technique is really improving on deadlifts and I was able to pull a clean 495 the week before last. Now im doing triples with 475 with ease and speed so I think I got at least a single at 515 in me right now. My end of the year goal is to pull 600 at a bodyweight of 185 and I'm feeling pretty damn confident about reaching it, especially since I've been focusing on engaging my hamstrings more and really progressing with my speed work.

Not with Brian. No way. I have better things to do than get humiliated by that guy.
The chains are to me,an outstanding training tool,( I did a bunch of research before using them and even more since starting), and have helped me in a couple of ways. One is that they're helping me get the strength back in the chest and shoulder area after that pec tear nearly 2 years ago. They're also adding even more variables to my workouts so that I can keep things fun.
That's big right there. After being a gym rat as long as I have been, that can be tough. Working out is about as much mental as it is physical imho. Starting late next month I'll switch to using the chains on dumbells. Should work nicely on selected exercises and I'm looking forward to seeing the results. I'll also start doing deadlifts again.
