I don't know much about that program, other than the commercial looks interesting. If it looks like something you'd be interested in, and it gets you moving, I'd say go for it.

Ok I'm a classic dumbbell and barbell guy at heart, but i've tried out and gotten into alternative programs like insanity and P90X and just really tried to broaden my pallet and try different things just to focus on being more well rounded and athletic I guess you'd say. These last few weeks I've really been focusing on body weight moves. A lot of pull ups and push ups. I'm way behind the curve but the last few days I've been reading about suspension trainers. TRX, Rip60, etc. Now I dont know if I'm ready to go full bore money wise for those systems, id probably just get these http://www.amazon.com/SKLZ-Power-Str...8&keywords=trx.

Anyone have any experience with this style of training in a gym, home or otherwise? I really like the portability of it, and it seems like you can hit a lot of muscle groups using it.

Lift heavy, eat at a deficit.

Do cardio if you really feel the need to or if you can't limit your calories enough.

How much do you need to cut? If you're already pretty lean and are trying to cut the last little bit of fat it will take a little more discipline/work than having to cut down 10-15+ pounds.

got back into the gym after a 2 month hiatus (ahem laziness)..gained some of my weight back..but not all(yay me!)..why I stopped going to the gym ..I have no idea...boy it doesn't take long to lose a step or 2...but back into for 2.5 weeks now...I've lost 2.5 pounds already! counting calories...tons of cardio..and some weightlifting...I'm gonna take off what I managed to put back on ..and then lose some more (hopefully..)

I found out I have high cholesterol, so I had to switch up how I eat.

I cut out red meat, pork, and sweets. And in two in weeks, I lost 6 pounds.

I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but my BMI is less than 15%.....so 6 pounds is a lot.

Can you believe watching what you eat actually works? Who would have thunk?

Yeah been tracking my eating and found that I sabotage myself at lunch. Breakfast and dinner and snacks is pretty healthy. But lunch I just bomb myself with stupid calories and fat.

Nothing wrong with Fat at all as long as it's from good sources. If your getting it from potato chips then yeah I could see the issue.
