    Question How does this work?

    Since the VP takes his oath before the president does will that make Biden Bush's VP or will he be president for a few minutes until Obama takes his oath?

    In all seriousness - He become the Vice President of the united states. So yes, if in that short time frame something happened to Bush, prior to Obama taking the oath, then Biden would be president.
