Would you rather go blind or go deaf?

Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves. ~ William Pitt
"The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground" ~ Thomas Jefferson
"Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force; like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action." ~ George Washington
I would rather go deaf.
I would probably pick deaf, but let's hope that scenario never happens.![]()
Blindness - you'd miss out on the beauty of the world.
Deafness - never be able to hear music again.
Mufumonk's answer wins.

That is a tough one.
At first I thought I'd rather be blind, so I can have conversations and listen to music, etc...
Then I thought about my sight and what it does for me, then I thought about closed caption and paper and pens.
So yeah...
Give me deaf!
I'll go with deaf
wow. honestly i dont know how I could do without either one.
i am a HUGE music fan so I wouldnt want to miss out on the beauty of music.
but I also love sights and a good sunset.
but if i went deaf I wouldnt be able to speak well....so we will go with blind.
I was deaf for the first five years of my life...so I am pretty good at lip-reading...I'll take deaf.
Not being able to see my son smile again...it would be too painful.
"When life gives you lemons...SHUT-UP and eat your lemons!"
definitely deaf...i couldnt take not being able to see Jessica Alba.
I'll derail my own thread...
Would you rather...
