I thought last night's DS was great. The part where Fox is saying the Romney video shouldn't be showed because it was recorded way back in May, yet they go and dig up something Obama said in 1998 lol

I figured as much...I was being a bit of a smart arse...kinda inspired after the Stewart videos.

Seriously though, after watching those I found that I didn't laugh....I found instead that I was pretty angry.....sincerely angry.

Anger is human, and often a sign you're functioning properly.

You know as well as I do, it's management of both internal and external expressions of it that's the challenge.

Laughing at it in certain cases, while not ignoring it, is always a favorite. But it's not always possible or even appropriate (as I often learned the hard way in younger years and still sometimes need a refresher). Let us, however, give thanks to the Daily Show for all they do.

Last night---"At Romney campaign HQ..." (and then it shows the Fox News logo)

Yeah, I was watching Rachel Maddow the other night and she focused on how many of the Fox News contributers work for the Romney campaign and how Fox News has become an extension of the Romney campaign, much to the chagrin of conservatives who feel marginalized by Romney and those who don't support him. It is pretty sad.

Failed candidates get their own program on Faux.
Campaign/Adminstration aides are hired as regular commentators.
Basically if you lose as a Republican you get a job on Faux....but they are Fair and Balanced.

Also some fun with facts and numbers on Romney's comments of "50%" of the Obama admins "energy company bailouts went bankrupt", including comparing the claim of it being actually 8% and comparing it to the 22% claimed for bankrupted companies endorsed by Bain the eight years Romney led the company.

I'll be interested in learning if those claims are accurate.

Last night was an epic episode. I saw the Rove meltdown as it was happening and all I could think was, "Jon Stewart is going to wet his pants when he sees this." They could have done a three-hour episode on that.

Haven't watched in awhile. The last thing I saw was just the opening for the episode of the 6th, and even that was hilarious (with all their guest news people and Patrick Stewart). I'll catch up now.
