Going to be an interesting FA. Reading some articles it appears that the top guys will get big money, but the next round of guys will get less than they have in previous years.

So, unless another team pays Dock big money he might be available for a reasonable price. One article said that instead of 2 or 3 weeks of big money spending that teams would stop after only one week and look for to pay only reasonable deals. Just have to wait and see.

I think for a player like Dock that is good news as far as getting him for a reasonable price.

Vinny is on the clock. I hope he makes the smart decision and signs Hall and brings in players like Dock and Canty for reasonable money instead of splurging on only one player like Haynesworth.

Says he'll be on the waiver wire at 4PM ET today. So I guess we'll see what happens then.

You know Vinny C. is FREAKING OUT. He had his free agency plan in place and this messes it all up. It's gonna be interesting to see how Vinny handles this with the pressure is on. I mean he really only has one day to change his plans.

This thread should also pose as a warning to those that actually want to make Haynesworth the highest paid defensive player... bad idea!

    Money changes people.

I'd be ok with Dockery coming back. He's familiar with Bugel, knows the area/team....I dont know if he'd come "Cheap" but we do need a guard...he could replace Kendall and boom we have that issue solved for a couple years atleast. Dockery is only like 27 or so.

Then we draft an OT to replace Jansen....snag Haynesworth I suppose. I wouldnt be upset if those 3 things were to transpire - then we go from there.

Who knows if they will be able to clear up the room for big Albert considering they want other FA and have to sign draft picks...

Id love to bring in Dockery, Canty and Boley to play SAM, resign Hall

Draft an OT early (hopefully still there at 13) and we are good to go next year

Would love to have Haynesworth but not if he costs us other badly needed players

OK, 2 things I take from this...

    1) Good call by the front office not to pay him the crazy money. Many people here had a fit that we let him go but it looks like the FO knew more than the fans.

    2) If he wants to come back at a reasonable price, I'm all for it. In fact I pray that someone is on the phone right now to try to make it happen.
