more picks is never a bad thing..
Thanks PG!
Great. I hope that we can luck out again and pick up another C.Horton.![]()
another chris horton maybe!
I am still shocked NO ONE has sniffed around Montgomery for a 5th rounder.
This is me officially giving our front office credit for the Chris Horton pick.
Honestly I wouldn't mind trying another defender from UCLA. I like the idea of getting guys from a familiar system. It's such a crap shoot in that round, you might as well pick someone who knows all the calls.

All this draft talk is getting me excitedi hope we dont trade back in the first round id rather take the best available player.
Thanks PG!
Maybe we could draft the next Chris Horton maybe?
Yeah, that was surprising to me too. He's not spectacular, but he can be a definite rotation player with some upside. I'd rather keep him, personally, but I think teams are scared away by the perceived lack of work ethic.
Remember, a lot of teams wanted him to make the move to OL because they didn't think he was aggressive enough to play DL in the NFL. Not sure he's done enough to change that opinion.
I'd disagree because Chris Horton is a player who probably could have been a 2nd or 3rd rounder if people knew what he'd turn out to be. There aren't many kickers/punters you pick up in the 7th where people say, "Wow what a steal, he should have been a first day pick!" I also don't want to see us use another pick to make up for the mistake of using a pick on Brooks last year.
