meat is the main part of chili, it's the basis of chili, it is what makes chili CHILI!

Beans. From scratch. Soak them for a day then rinse them off. Slow cook the chili in a crockpot for about 12 hrs.

we don't call it tomato gravy because we all know what gravy is, duh!

and we arent idiots, we can use context. If we are having mashed potatoes and gravy we know you dont want the red gravy, come'on man!
