Trade processed and pick updated. Kuraitengai STILL on the clock.
with the 9th pick in the 1st round, the r2 trickstas select...
mark sanchez, qb, jets
I have a trade in the works with The B&G, pending a player he wants being available right now. Once I hear from him, we'll pull the trigger and he'll pick.
Alright, the trade fell through, so I'm going to go ahead and pick Glen Coffee, RB out of Alabama, now with the 49ers. Welcome to the Plow Hards, Mr. Coffee.

ok, going to go ahead and make this pick but I'm still actively seeking a 2nd for my super-sleeper (TDR, shut yo mouth) before this guy
bit of a reach here for what I consider to be serious home run or total bust potential. Funk called the Oakland offense a "power offense" (lmao) but I'm going to call it more of a "I'm tired of getting my ass kicked" offense, as in the best play in Oakland's playbook for the near future will be *Darrius, run that way real fast and I'm going to throw it a long way but make it quick b/c I'm tired of getting my ass kicked"
and as a multi-generation Turtle, gotta go w/DHB.......

thanks MCM @NFLFever2 for the sig
With the 12th, and final selection in the 1st Round, Beatdown Inc selects..........
Jeremy Maclin, WR, Philadelphia Eagles
Yup stoshy, another Philadelphia Eagle. He's got to be about as well rounded a player as there is left on the board. Maybe he and Jackson can find some sort of speedy deep threat tandem to scare opponents in Philly. Might be a bit of a reach, but if i hadn't gone with him, it would have been another division foe's draftee that i would have grabbed. He was a RB however, and with youngans like Rice and McCoy, i think i have a good young foundation. So i went with the fact that I'm in need of a young, multi-dimensional receiver, and that i traded one away to grab this pick.
Makes sense to me...but then again so did drafting Stafford, and everyone's calling me the boob of the millenium for that. lol, suck it nancies. But go ahead stosh, flame me. As if drafting another Eagle wasn't enough ammo for you, i even TRADED AWAY a Redskin to grab this one. LOL
That being said, i doubt we'll whiz through the 2nd round with any type of swiftness, so i'm probably done until i get back from vacation (i'll be back the 28th for all intents and purposes). Stosh has my number if my pick(s) comes up and you guys have noticed i haven't been around.
Just so there's no confusion.......![]()

Saleem has asked me to make this pick for him as he is out of town and apparently, back in time w/ no internet. Begrudgingly, I will...
With the 13th overall pick in the 2009 rookie draft, the one eyed wonder weasels and their two balls selects...
Andre Brown, RB, New York Giants

I really should pay more attention to college football...maybe this will be the year??? I know nothing about the guys who are left, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night...and Saggy Balls will select our first ever rookie pick (we traded 'em all away last year). The name I pulled out of the hat is NY Giants WR Hakeem Nicks
ok, wasnt who i wanted to make this early, but all the 'experts' had him and andre brown a super sleepers and davis the 6th ranked rookie RB. and not sure he would still be here in 5 picks. so gotta take him now.
so, the r2 trickstas select, my boy, james davis, clemson/cleveland...
now i just need to send him an email and tell him to 'nancy kerrigan' jamal lewis in the knee or something around preseason. especially since i dont like lewis since he beat out my other boy for the gig at UT, so he had to go to 'the other' USC and i therefore had to hate him for two years.

With the 16th pick in the 2009 rookie draft, ChrisCooleyFunkFactory's Puny Playbook selects...
Brian Robiskie, WR, Cleveland Browns
I was thinking about trading down, but I believe he has first round talent. Can't pass up a sure thing in this shallow draft.
With the 17th pick in the rookie draft Reality Check selects.......................
Kenny Britt WR Titans
I like this kid a lot 6'3" 218 4.48 speed he has the potential to be a #1 WR... just might take a while but I like his situation on a WR thin team I think he is close to a sure bet to see playing time this year......
also a nice compliment to Wayne, Holmes, and (comeback player of the 2009-2010 season) Ochocinco.......
With the 18th pick in the 2009 Rookie Draft, Adrenaline selects:
Brandon Pettigrew, TE Detroit Lions
With the 19th pick in the 2009 Rookie Draft, Adrenaline selects:
Ramses Barden, WR New York Giants
...only because he's tall.
without further adieu...
the r2 trickstas select...
Juaquin Iglesias, WR, Chicago
yeah...apparently he likes making over the shoulder sideline grabs with the DB hanging all over him...
With the 21st pick in the 2009 rookie draft, ChrisCooleyFunkFactory's Puny Playbook, after much deliberation, and possibly, too much haste as I am not waiting for my trade offers to come back, and after being up too late, selects...
The best receiving TE prospect in the draft, and has been compared to Calvin Johnson by the 'ol ball coach at SC. Sorry, Kur...
Jared Cook, TE, Tennessee Titans
My last pick of the draft and I couldnt be anymore pleased.
