Well, after looking at my (admittedly near-flawless) squad, I realize I may have a hole at backup QB. Manning is of course incredible, but Brady Quinn may never be the man in Cleveland, and Tarvaris Jackson is an enigma.

With that in mind, I'm going to draft the last "skill position" player that went in round 1 of this past draft. The Plow Hards selects Josh Freeman, QB out of K-State, and now with the Buccaneers. Hopefully, over the next few years, the Bucs decide they want to have an actual passing attack.

ok boys and girls, you're going to hear his name here first. Started over some clown named McCoy in his Freshman year at Pitt. Transferred to Liberty to be closer to his Dad who was suffering from complications due to diabetes. Porn-stash Wannstedt told him his draft status would suffer. He told Stash to stick it. That's the kind of character we look for in players here at Stosh Inc. He may have fallen a bit in the NFL draft but he'll not fall here.

    Rashad Jennings, RB - Jacksonville

thanks MCM @NFLFever2 for the sig

With the 25th overall pick in the 2009 Draft, Beatdown Inc selects........

    Mohammed Massaquoi, WR, Cleveland Browns

Like Stosh said, it's a toss up now, and has been for a while. Everything out of Brown's camp is saying Massaquoi is looking pretty impressive alongside Robiskie. Good size, plays fast, somewhat questionable hands at times...so who knows, if the guy gets the WR3 in Cleveland, an injury could put him in the starting lineup at some point.

and with the 26th overall pick in the 2009 Draft, Beatdown Inc selects......

    Brian Orakpo, DE, Washington Redskins

Eagles fan my ass. Suck it bitches. Kind of a homer pick, but should be a solid bye week filler for Mario Williams.

Now please, somebody trade me your 3rd rounder next year for my 3.11 this year so that i don't have to deal with it while i'm on vacation.

hadnt planned to go this direction, but here i am...

the r2 trickstas select... james laurinaitis, MLB, st. louis rams

MLBs get pretty good stats in spags defense. pierce racked up 97 last season. and the rams arent exactly great, so teams should run a good bit on them.
and how can you go wrong with the baby animal?

With the 29th overall pick in the 2009 rookie draft, CCFF's Puny Playbook selects...

His hands are so good they might switch him to WR...

Mike Goodson, RB, Carolina Panthers. Sleeper mode! I was bummed when my trade with Nut didnt go through and I missed out on andre brown. Guess I'll have to settle for my super sleeper who was drafted just before AB. Might have to give him a year or two, but early reports are that he is a beast. Extremely athletic and dynamic, they will get him the ball anyway they can.

With the 30th pick of the 2009 Rookie Draft, Adrenaline selects:

    Tom Brandstater, QB Denver

Seems like as good a time as any to take a developmental QB in a decent situation. He is behind Kyle Orton and Chris Simms who are not long term solutions at the QB position for the Broncos. He is also in a system that caters to the QB. I mean look at what McDaniels did with Matt Cassel.

I'm not trying to make any crazy predictions or anything but lets not forget about another project QB that was taken a few years back in the sixth round. Brandstater...drop the "n" and "stater" and tack on a "y". Coincidence? I dunno you tell me.

With the 31st pick in the 2009 ES Rookie draft, CCFF's Puny Playbook selects,

Brandon Tate, WR, New England Patriots

Sleeper mode! The guy fell to the third round cause he got injured his senior season and tested positive for pot at the combine. He is extremely athletic, and dynamic as when he comes off the PUP list he will be a return man first, and eventually (I'm hoping) replace/start next to Wes Welker.

Kinda sounds like Percy Harvin, who's kinda good too.

With the 33rd pick in the rookie draft... Realty Check selects....

Patrick Turner of the Miami Dolphins.....

Might be a stretch here maybe I could have gotten him in FA... but I think he has a shot of making it in Miami.... big strong guy.... hopefully will become a red zone target in Miami.... also doesnt have much competition in front of him to get on the field as the 3rd WR or maybe better....

    or maybe another USC bust.....

Alright, shoring up my backup tight end spot, the Plow Hards have selected Chase Coffman, formerly of Missouri, now with the Cincinnati Bengals. A quick check of their roster shows nothing that should keep him from being the starter by 2010.

With the 35th overall pick in the 2009 Draft, Beatdown Inc selects....

Gartrell Johnson, RB, San Diego Chargers

Steal of the draft right here folks. Gartrell Johnson has all the right attributes to be the heir to LT's throne. He looks a lot like LT in stature, minus the dreds, lol. Yeah he's gonna start the year behind Sproles but it's only a matter of time. It might not be this year or next year, but i REALLY like this guys chances of being San Diego's next workhorse.

And on that note, i'm done. Guys, you're awesome for getting this thing wrapped up before i roll out on Saturday.
