Hey USS Redskins, while I am a female, I know several men who have had it done and had no problems. It's a relatively simple procedure that doctors perform all the time. Of course there is always a small risk with any procedure, but it's a minute risk with this pretty quick in and out procedure.
True story, I personally know a physician who performed his
own vasectomy on his lunch break, lol. He gave himself some local anesthesia, snipped one tube, took a break and ate sandwhich, then snipped the other tube and whaalaa. He's bat**** crazy, but that's beside the point. The point being that's the most hilarious story I've ever heard
The woman usually goes through 9 months of pregnancy, painful labor, and painful recovery, postpartum depression (some of my family members and friends have experienced this)...MULTIPLE TIMES...and now you're asking why she can't she proceed to get her tubes tied?
I swear to God if my husband even tries to says something like this I will kick him so hard in the balls he wouldn't ever have to worry about his fertility again.
Alrighty now...back to rational mode: the sterilization procedure for women is a much more invasive surgery than that for men.
