That stinks, I still never went there. I hear Lavar may get a radio show on a new Sportstalk Station

it was a terrible idea. Classic case of a former athlete making a horrible business decision.

I thought it was Joe Theismann's restaurant when I first saw it. I guess that's still doing OK? It's been around a long time.

Thats the difference of a player that won a superbowl with us and always praised gibbs, and a player that trashed gibbs on his way to a division rival...

    Heart..... bleeding.

That's the "coward" Karma God in action LaVar.

Try open one up down in big D. You'll be a roaring success with your views down there.

Poor Lavar can't catch a break anymore. He's really had some bad run of luck these few years. Hope he's doing ok

Yeah I saw the headline and was worried it was Theisman's too.

But that place is pretty much an Alexandria landmark, with a sweet location right by the metro.

As for Lavar's place, that is a TON of cash to blow through in a short period of time.

Owning a sports bar is a dream for so many guys i think, but you've got to do it right. Get caught up in too much overhead and the dream turns into a nightmare really fast.
Q: Are you surprised by the lack of production by the back-ups on the offensive line?

Vinny Cerrato: "Are you talking about all the sacks and stuff?"

He'll eventually find someone else to blame for him being a terrible business owner. Plenty of people will think his bankruptcy is the fault of Gregg Williams and Joe Gibbs, too. All he has to do is say it.

Good luck creditors...Lavar doesn't often read the contracts he signs

I worked there as a security guard (off duty cop). I will say it is a nice place, above average food, and overall a good idea. However, the location and the patrons are what brought the place down.

Often times at closing, it turned into a "go go" scene just outside. It got so bad, we had to have additional units respond and wait until closing.

You can take the person out of the hood, but not the hood out of the person.
