I am confused about a few things though -

A story about a boy who is supposedly not treated correctly because he lacked significant health insurance would seem to support the idea that having proper access to affordable and good health care is important………no?

Also, from what I can tell from reading this and a few other articles is that in 2006 Michelle Obama worked at UofC Hospital and was one of the people behind a plan that would attempt to send non-life threatening patients to regional clinics where treatment is much less expensive, thus allowing for UofC to focused on serious specialized cases and research. Having people go to the regional clinics for non-lifethreatening issues would lower the costs – which benefits everyone in the country.

This plan supposedly was crafted in 2006, and in 2009 there was a single incident. Which clearly might have been handled wrong. Not sure I can condemn an entire program based on that evidence alone. Not saying it is working, but I would need to know more.

I read about this before and I more or less came to the same conclusion that you did.

Good luck with that. The article lacks enough information to really be able to come to a conclusion on anything. I agree with Duckus, I'd need to know more.

It's easier just to post it and mention something about "the messiah" or "socialism" or "the liberal media" or another one of those catchy buzzwords of the day.

Having read some Malkin in my time...

It's the reasons that led FNC to invite her to be a contributor, and not the fact that she is a contributor, that make her a poor source. She's a Coulter wannabe. A mere "pundit", with all the negative implications that term carries, and certainly not a credible source for anything other than cheap entertainment for idealogues who like having their own opinions preached to them.
