    Default Jesus Saves... Fact or Fiction?

    This thread was not (the underline that Larry made popular ) made with intent to create consternation between I and those that are avid believers.

    I have been seeing alot of these stickers on vehicle bumpers and want to know what equivalence this has on one's life?

    Is this just for show of a "Good Christian" or is there more behind the proverbial phrase?

    Strive for more or achieve less!

    In any case, WhoRUSupposed2Be, if you really want to know...

    The Bible teaches that God can't abide the presence of sin, being perfect, and that all of us have sinned. Thus, without intercession, we will all be seperated fro, God when we die (Hell). Jesus died for us, and if we accept that free gift, we go to Heaven. Thus, Jesus "saves" those that believe from Hell.

    As for whether that's a fact or not, I say yes. It's a fact.

    Hopefully, anyone with a "Jesus Saves" bumper sticker, has better judgement in their every day walk with God than they do in choosing decorations for their vehicle.

    I really can't think of a positive connotation that can be gleaned from a message on your car's bumper.

    I don't know why, but when I saw this thread I thought you were talking about the book - Jesus Son. Which is fiction. Haha.

    Great book. Very very dark though.
