Human spirit hauntings are boring...
Demonic hauntings...now that's where the fun starts.

I was making clay pottery one night... when I felt a presence. It was Whoopy Goldberg. I said "damn Whoopy, who let you in?!?" She said "I knew you hid the key in that fake rock." so we hung out, and she places this penny on the floor. Whoopy said that my favorate pet wwas in the room with us and Maxx wanted to tell me something... "What?" I said... "He needs to be let out to go do his duty" whoopy said.
I asked her why she put the penny on the ground and all she did was shrug.
Yes, and it was the most magical night of my life

Does anyone else think there are WAY too many ghost-related shows on TV right now? I mean, I think I believe in the paranormal, and I LOVE ghost stories, but these TV shows are crap.
There's Ghost Hunters, Celebrity Ghost Stories, Haunted Homes, Haunted History, etc. Some of these shows are so dumb that they are almost parodies of themselves. Haunted Homes is possibly the most ridiculous show I've ever seen in my life.
I was watching football last weekend. Anyway, the weirdest thing.... the coach of the redskins... it was like he was there, but somehow not completely... like his soul had been robbed from his body or something.
It was creepy.

those are some pretty big shoes to fill....

Theres actually a site that lists all of the "reported" haunted sites in the US if anyone wants to take a look at it. Some of the claims have been proven false though, but not all of them.
Heres Maryland:

sweet, lets hear some more true ghost stories
I don't have a ghost story personally, but living in Southern Maryland, I definitely get an eerie feeling driving some of the back roads out here. Theres a lot of history down here dating back to the Revolutionary War times, so it wouldn't surpise me if some of the local areas are haunted. I've always been interested in the paranormal, but I've never had the balls to try a Ouija board or anything along those lines though.

I know from personal experience quite a few of these stories are from a form of sleep paralysis. They match up pretty well.
Also, I'm never, ever, EVER going to come close to an Ouija board. I don't really believe in roaming human ghosts, but I do believe in demons and I do believe it's possible to communicate with the dead.
