Not sure I like using the roster slot for another QB because I like both Todd and Colt and don't see us carrying 4 QB's. If you release Todd he gets picked up in a heartbeat and then when Jason needs replacing you have Vick and Colt. If this was happening after this season it would be easy to not sign Jason and add Vick keeping Todd and Colt.

Now Vick has been one hell of an athlete and he rushed for over 1,000 yards in '06 with 2 TD's to go with the 20 he threw. IF he can play back to that level he would be a great addition. Dungy being around would be incredible but not sure I see that happening.

Why would you build anything around a troubled guy off the street. He would take TC's spot and cost less.

So what offense do you run if JC gets hurt? Because Vick would not be able to run the system we have in place right now with any degree of comfort.

I don't think he would be coming here to take over Jason's job. I don't think anyone is asking him to be a starting QB right now. More like a slash player. I'm all for that

When ATL installed a WCO it was seen as a failure . Vick has terrible accuracy and is a very round peg in a square hole .

I think people are wigging out . Vick is a Virginia Native and Dan Snyder understands the massive PR disaster that Vick would meen .

I don't think Snyder will do anything to cut off revenue streams... Vick would be such a thing.

I mean when compared to Burress, Pac Man, or T.O, he is the consumate professional. Let me put it to you all this way, on Mike and Mike in the Morning, they asked Dick Vermeil whether or not he would sign MV as his QB, upon which he responded "Absolutely". Think about it, we could get him for dirt cheap right now to serve as a backup. If by week 6 Jason Campbell is not getting it done, you have MV right there for the taking. I would much rather see him in Burgundy and Gold, than the silver and blue....... twice a year.
To me, it's really not that big of a gamble. More like money the bank.
