I Hate Lavar and Chad

Sports Reporters.

Its really not that difficult. You may not agree with everything they say but at least you won't emerge from your radio listening experience feeling dumber than before.

And that, my friends, is all the difference.

Sports Reporters leaves me feeling completely miserable. The passive aggressiveness, the ignorant questions they already have answers to, and their pretend overall sports knowledge which is actually the statistics sheet and computer in front of them. Sports reporters is TERRIBLE. Not to mention the horrendous sound of those guys voices along with their ****ty use of words, and the way they use adjectives and sounds to make points for example "Yea andy, they're drinking the kool-aid (SLURP SLURP SLURP)"

I could imagine what Lavar is saying about Portis. It's common knowledge those 2 do NOT like one another. Lavar really disliked Gibbs for what went down in his final years as a Skin, while Portis was and continues to be a Gibbs soldier through and through. Lavar is a dumbass racist who isnt worthy of ever being on the air. He is dumb as **** when it comes to any sports other than football, and he even struggles with simple football analysis. His corny act is getting really OLD. He's not funny and just annoys the hell out of me. In my opinion, he's bringing Dukes down

He may be a dumbass, but I thought Lamar was usually pretty level headed when it came to race. Dukes doesn't need anyone to bring him down when it comes to football, after all, he commented that anyone who watched Redskins practice when they could be watching Game of Thrones is an idiot. Junk food, wrestling, video games and movies are topics where Chad qualifies.

I mostly defend 106.7 compared to the smooch fest on the other channel but listen to them going insane crazy over Skip Bayless and Screaming A Smith phony "race war" that they tried to start with Cousins and RG3 is just laughable. Everyone knows that First Take is a phony debate show where they don't believe in maybe 90% of the things they say

I still don't understand why people continue to say that about 980, in regards to the "Smooch fest" comment. That thought process is the reason why fans most likely flocked to Lavar And Dukes in the first place, and it simply is not true, no matter how much people want it to be (just for the simple fact that they most likely hate/hated Snyder and anything associated with him). They (collectively) do not hold back, at all, in regards to Snyder and the Skins, now or in the past.

A racist?? I have never heard anything remotely close to LaVar Arrington being a racist. Furthermore, #56 was, in my opinion, one of the best Redskins' players of all time. I mean afterall, he retired Troy Aikman. Haha! In all seriousness, where did you come up with LaVar being a racist?

Dukes and Lavar are a liability on the air -- they have no chemistry, Dukes often sounds like he'd rather be anywhere but in the studio discussing sports, and Lavar is completely unable to be coherent (or get out a question or make a simple statement in less than 2 minutes). But they do have two things going for them that have kept them on the air for over three years: people who dislike them ironically keep tuning in to catch their flaws, and the Sports Reporters is atrocious as well.

What The Fan does have going for it are good beat reporters. Grant Paulsen > Chris Russell any day of the week, in my opinion.

What The Fan does have going for it are good beat reporters. Grant Paulsen > Chris Russell any day of the week, in my opinion.

When Lavar is not in studio with him Dukes often points the show in a different direction, away from football or sports altogether.

I listen to the show to hear Grant. He is professional, well informed and he reports what he sees and hears without an agenda. When he is off the line I turn the station.

Certainly. During the 2009 season I heard on a number of occasions that upper management had it out for Jason Campbell and Lavar mentioned race as the issue. In the middle of 2010, Lavar mentioned on multiple occasisions that the Shanahan's purposlely didnt want a black QB to succeed, following the whole Mcnabb disaster. In the last 2 weeks, he's mentioned people will still view Luck as the better QB if he has a poor season and threw in a couple of lines about race, and just last week when they played the Chad Johnson 911 call, went on a stupid rant about why the police asked what race the suspect was.

Why do I listen to them? Because like everyone else on here, I loved Lavar as a Redskin, and want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but as each show passes I start to hate him more and more.
