Default Per John Clayton: CP WILL Play today (and more CP "play/not play" topic mergings) MET

Just said it at the end of Sportscenter.
“Hey, about an hour ago, all right, their [defensive] coordinator [Juan Castillo] told us, told [offensive line coach Chris] Foerster, that [if] the Giants would have lost last week, they were in the playoffs,” Kyle Shanahan said. “He didn’t mention that they had to beat us today. **** him, **** these guys. In 2012 the Redskins are gonna be the NFC East champions, and that starts right ****ing today.”

I would love if he broke the same run today, as his very first run here (against the same team).

I'd kinda like to see what Mason could do with extended playing time. Against the Sucs might be a good time to try him out.

    I hate this....the dude is not 100%.

I feel we have very capable backs to get us through this week with a win. It's a long season, get the man healthy!

Never can practice but always wants to play. bill Parcells rule was I don't care who you are no practice no play, maybe that why portis looks washed up he only plays football once a week

    Very stupid decision.

Bench him Zorn, and let him get healthy.

    Yep, Portis is active today.

    From Twitter:

Here are your Redskins-Bucs inactives: E. Williams, A. Montgomery, Mitchell, Alridge, Wynn, Batiste, Barnes, Henson.

Hate that he never practices. Maybe it's why he keeps running directly into his blockers.

I'm glad Portis is playing for fantasy reasons, but Zorn needs to put his foot down at some point.

He's too scared to rock the boat.

I agree with those that want CP to rest the game out. I don't care if he gets 250 on the ground. It will mean nothing if he can't get healthy for the rest of the year. Use any combination of Betts/Mason/Alridge/Sellers/Cartwright (who ever is active) and let CP get ready for the long haul.

I saw it too on SC. I would rest him and let him recover and get healthy.

no one wants to start him hurt anyway. I have him and anyone else that drafted him in fantasy already has a decent replacement, playing him this game actually hurts him for fantasy down the stretch, he needs rest, he needs to be healthy. week 4 means very little in fantasy football.
