I had a dream that a day after the last game of the season, Snyder holds a press conference. This is what was said...
Good afternoon everyone. Thank you for coming out.
Today I stand before you humbled. I have failed the fans and supporters of this once proud and successful organization. I have failed the players, coaches, and I have failed myself.
As many of you know, I grew up as fan of the Washington Redskins here in the D.C. area. It has been a dream of mine to not only be a part of the team, but to own the team. When that possibility came to fruition, I wanted to do nothing more than win. As a business man, I did what I thought was in the best interest of the team and have been as aggressive as possible in building the team. I have brought in top talent, top coaches, and have paid a lot of money to do so. I have done this to a fault.
Year after year, I have had to watch other teams rise from futility to winners and champions while I have watched our team finish in mediocrity. I have always felt that the Redskins have been a good team on the cusp of greatness. I was wrong. And it starts with me.
For years I have let my ego and stubbornness get in the way. No more. Today is a new day. In holding myself accountable for the past failures of this team, I will now take a different approach and management style to the team. I will follow the model of other successful NFL franchises and put more qualified individuals in charge of all football decisions. This is very hard for me to do as an entrepreneur and the biggest fan of this team. However, I owe it to myself and to the millions of fans of this team to take a new and steadfast approach in bringing the team back to their traditional winning ways.
Going forward, my plan is not only to assemble the best and strongest front office, but to also create a better fan experience. This will happen in the way of the team that takes the field every game day, to the actual game day experience. This will be an ongoing process to continually improve each and every area that we can to keep the Redskins loyal fans happy.
Please understand this will not happen overnight. Unlike my past mistakes, I want to make rational and smart decisions for the long term and not for the immediate future. I will be sure to hire a competent general manager who will be in charge of running the team’s operations. In showing patience and due diligence, I will continue to monitor the status of the team, but will keep out of any football decisions made. You too be patient, as you will see this team turn around and eventually be a Super Bowl winning team.
Thank you to all those fans who have continued to support the team through success and failure. Your continued support will help bring this team back to its winning tradition.

I was saddened to realize this was only a dreamBut could you imagine if this came true!!!??!?
