I was at Ft. Lewis yesterday with a buddy from KPLU and guys I have worked with from the Stryker Brigade and will be seeing some others from McChord AFB at Applebee's today. I will miss out on a big party I always loved with my old amigos from Bangor and other Naval Base Kitsap sites when I lived in Bremerton/Silverdale. As a kid I grew up next door to Elmendorf AFB & Ft. Richardson. I have never had the honor of wearing any military uniform. I have been around the military in one form or another my entire life. For years, I have, among my job duties, been either a civilian worker, or a volunteer of personal time, for various Army, Navy, and Air Force installations.
It is always a privilege to do anything I can for these people, many of whom make such serious sacrifices, including the ultimate one. I am truly grateful to all those who honorably serve or have served in all branches of our military, and their families who support them. You have my respect and my hand. Thank you all for my freedom.

"Captain, it's a viewpoint--not one of ours! We're under attack!"
"I see it, ensign! Engage amygdala! Transfer all power from frontal lobes!
Suspend critical thinking field! Go to course heading of reflexive response 101 at full bias!
Now!'Enter' at will!"
