Additionally, as has been pointed out by a mod recently, when discussing general aspects of play, bringing up the Skins isn't a problem.

Honestly, I’d say you’re average in quality of football offerings even when you’re at your best, mi amigo. That’s just my opinion, of course. But then I’m real ****ing smart, know this turf real well, and know a fair amount about football so I probably set high standards. Now I didn’t give you your custom work, but I can sure see how the staff needs some outlet to vent for dealing with you when you’re around short of banning you, trust me.

For the record you have been banned 7 times (and 4 other non-ban mod actions) by 6 mods covering old & newer staff. Henry even banned you and he rarely used the ban button. Even Pete gave you six months with the note "next time we need to perma-ban this clown" and that was some time back. Since then I and others have banned you too, but always let you come back. PCS, a pretty easy-going mod IMO, even has your two more recent user notes showing all the constraint he can not to punt you, but wanted the matters on record.

I'm just presenting the facts here, harsh as they are, which you seem to contest. I'm not endorsing any point of view other what I state as my own.

You're actually ban-worthy at the moment in this thread, just one reason being it's our norm to do so when someone self-servingly misrepresents the history of mod actions with their account, or makes false accusations against staff. And you are well over the limit for when we would usually execute a permanent ban. But I still won't do it.

While I think you're often a complete goofwad and sometimes even trollish, and you do break rules and are often held accountable, we have always got along fine. I appreciate those who accept their consequences usually without whining, arguing, or blaming others. You seem to be losing some of that attitude recently while keeping all the troublesome angles active. Don't go entirely over the edge. The “other” piece is all that keeps you posting on ES. You and I are cool as far as I’m concerned, but I never let my personal take on a poster over-ride making an appropriate moderator decision.

Ken wasn't banned and yet it seems you’re claiming he was, while the only post where that topic is mentioned is mine and it states he wasn’t being banned. Is this a reading comprehension issue? So there's nothing "ridiculous" that "happened" to Ken. But if he had been banned, you're in a weak position to call "ridiculous" as you dont know what mods will know about board management, context of any given matter, and how the rules are applied. You can still have an ignorant opinion on such an event of course and post it, but know that such may have consequences (read the rules).

Another ignorant portion of your post is how despite being here as long as you have you apparently struggle with the reality that whether tr1 (or anyone) spouts "bull****" or not (by anyone's opinion) we don't ban for just talking "bull****." Were it otherwise, 80% of the board would likely be gone half the time, and you would occasionally be among them.

Do what some of the smart people I know do. If they have little use for tr1’s style, they ignore his threads and his posts because they know what they're going to find. And until the staff decides for some reason that relentless bashing of the cowboys using approaches from the straight-up and conventional to the ridiciulous and absurd (by anyone's opinion and whether done by tr1 or anyone else) needs to be changed, that's the name of that tune.

It sometimes seems like so many message board posters lack the testicular fortitude to take responsibility for their own choices and prefer to whine like babies waiting for the world to conform to them (just a personal take). You can choose. If eliminating a bothersome behavior is not an option for you, and you can no longer tolerate it for any reason, then ignoring the behavior is another option and that is dififerent than endorsing the behavior. See? That's not rocket surgery, is it? So now I assume you're good to go.

Remember, KK, since Tarhog gave you a break on your dupe acct. violation a couple years ago (normally an automatic perma-ban anytime we choose), you haven’t had any rule violations worth nailing. And your post here (which violates rule 18) is just another example of how we don’t ban for plain old "bull****."

I write like that sometimes cuz it's fun. But I can write fairly well in virtually any style---don't hate. What you miss entirely in your personal-issue pot shot, is in such posts I am also conveying a lot of detail about moderating and board management to help people see "how it works" and keep things more smooth in the long run.
