I'm glad Orakpo didn't win. Pro Bowl + this award could have potentially inflated his head. I know he's pretty well grounded and all, but still............hopefully this somehow makes him hungrier.

I don't think you could've gone wrong with either of the 3 getting the award or even Jaruis Byrd. Orakpo made the Pro Bowl, which is more than most of us fans thought would happen going into the season. DROY would've been nice, but a Pro Bowl you're rookie year isn't too shabby either.

They made the right choice for DROY...

I think Orakpo got an undeserving Pro Bowl this year.. sure he got sacks but rest of his game was not very good

I'd still rather have Orakpo.

Cushing is a great OLB. But OLBs like himself aren't once in a lifetime kinds of players.

How many rookies can come in and say they put up 11 sacks playing DE 50% of the time?

I'd much rather have Orakpo than Cushing.
