    Nice. I thought Audioslave sucked.

    Awesome.

Is this just temporary, like a one-time tour ?

Or are they back, long-term ?

I think I'm one of a very few people who enjoyed Audioslave.

For a few minutes I liked them, but I realized that the band forced a comparison with both Soundgarden and RATM every time I listen to them. If both previous bands never existed, I might have liked them more.

Hmm....interesting way of looking at it. Maybe that's why I can't get into Alter Bridge that much - the Creed connection.

I guess that's where we differ. I love Alter Bridge, even more than Creed.
And I'm surprised that holds you back, because the reason most people hate Creed is because of Scott Stapp, howver Alter Bridge = Creed minus Stapp.

I honestly feel that if Soundgarden and RATM never existed, then Audioslave would have failed with barely a wimper. Excruciatingly generic songs, boring riffs, and mumbled vocals all relying on past glory.

I do like a few of their songs....maybe I just need to sit down and give them more of a chance. Funny thing is that I never had anything against Stapp. I thought he could be an ass, but that really didn't bother me.
