Cool, I hope they come out with something good. Badmotorfinger and Superunknown were really good, but I was disappointed with Down On The Upside.

My favorite band growing up. Got to catch them at the Patriot Center once and it was awesome.
I liked Audioslave and Cornell's first two solo discs but the new one he made with Timbaland is straight garbage.
Isn't it strange how, of the 3 bands that are related : Rage Against Machine, Soundgarden, and Audioslave, practically no-one likes any 2 of the bands a lot, and no-one likes all 3.
Almost always, people like one of them, and hate the other 2, or vice versa.
Love Rage, love Soundgarden, HATE Audioslave
Another post down the drain...
I like Audioslave OK, they have a few cool songs. If you've ever heard Audioslave do "Killing in the Name Of" it's kinda wierd. I really like RATM.
Soundgarden is on a whole other level and the best heavy rock band of all time imo. I can listen to their stuff over and over, and have been for 15+ years.
I heard about this last week. I really hope it lasts, but it's hard to believe since Cornell has been saying forever that it would never happen. Dude is hugely talented, but is also a head case. If this does work out I can't wait to hear the music.
Saw them a couple of times in the mid 90's and they put on a great show, hopefully I can see them again this year.
The show I went to see them at is all over youtube actually:

Definitely good news. Audioslave had their moments, but Soundgarden rocks. Superunknown is so killer.
