The Vikings HAVE to find help for McKinnie on Ware. He simply cannot block Ware one on one. The Vikings are going to have to find a way to chip Spencer too, because he has been every bit as dangerous, if not more dangerous than Ware the past 2 months.

On defense, the Vikings need their LBs to show up. Witten is Romo's security blanket and if he's left open in the middle of the field, he will gash any defense in the NFL and keep the chains moving. The Vikings need to stop the run as well. Nobody uses the play action fake better than Romo. He has really mastered fakes and misdirections of all kind. If the running game is working and he is allowed to use the PA to his advantage, the Vikings are in for a very long day.

It will be a tough matchup but stopping the run early will go a long way for the vikings. They will need to keep feeding AP to keep the D honest.

Vikings secondary is very suspect. If I were the Cowboys, I'll come out throwing.

Pound the rock with "AD" Adrian. He's had a bad year so far, I think they've been saving him for the playoffs. Run that ball with Peterson, if Favre drops back throws over 35 attempts then the Vikes will lose. Defensively, apply pressure all day with the front 4 on Romo.

If 1383 yards rushing (and 436 yards receiving) and 18 TDs qualifies as a bad year, I'd love for a Redskins RB to have that bad of a season any time.

The Cowboys are as explosive as anyone left. It's on. The only thing I think will slow Dallas down is exactly what the Vikings do have: a mean pass rush. Quick-strike sacks are their key. They'll need at least 5 of them.

On D: Play a 1-deep zone with a double on either Austin or Witten, depending on the situation. Move Jared Allen around a lot to create mis-matched and harass Tony Romo all day.

On O: Lots of Peterson. Screens to Chester/Harvin/Rice. Playaction at least once every 8 plays. Crossing patterns, fly routes on the outside. Line Peterson up outside on a CB/LB with Taylor or Rice in the backfield.

You can't double both realistically... which one...

Find ways to get the ball in Harvin's hands, the guy is a playmaker, receiving, rushing, returns, whatever. Find ways to twist and stunt and let Jared Allen wreak havoc. Take Austin out of the game, the guy is a threat to take it to the house and blow the game open with a couple plays. As someone said here roll Brett away from Ware's side. and Don't abandon the run, give AP the rock and runblock like hell.
