Shiv, I hope not. I think a little bit of a twist on the classics, somewhat like the Vikings did, would be ok with me. Nothing drastic like when the Broncos or Bucs changed theirs.

I think it would be sweet to just change the yellow that we call gold to be actually gold, similar to what the Rams did several years ago.

We have one of the coolest, most classic uniforms in all of sports and I'll be mad if we change it. Retro-style uni's once in a while is fine, but no need for any big makeover.

Love his Redskins unis. Remind me of our 70th anniversary edition jerseys -- which I also loved. Seriously, for me it doesn't get much better than the attached photo (here's the link if I messed up the attachment: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/foo...edskins_lg.jpg ). Anyway, I hope the rumors are true. New jerseys would be a fun, welcome addition.

What better way to make up for the loss of merchandise sales due to the revolt this year. New uniforms mean people have to buy the new gear.

Oh no, I hope not. Every time a team tries to modernize the unis it looks silly. The classic ones around the league all look a lot better, and ties the teams more to their history. I think new ones would tie the skins psychologically more to their recent history (not good and tried to change) to their storied history overall (great).

Except the Caps changed their uniforms TWICE, then decided to go back with their classic Caps logo, only slightly different. Just wanted to clarify that in case anyone thought you meant otherwise.

The thing is it doesn't even look good. The burgundy on the jerseys doesn't match the burgundy on the pants exactly and it just looks tacky. Besides for that it is messing with tradition and it makes the team look like some reject college team.

Uniforms didnt make us look like a reject college team.... we just had them on while attempting that stupid swingin gate play and looked like a reject college team. Pure coincidence
