Its seems to me like its something the team is considering. They've been talking about it alot on Redskins nation. It seems like they're trying to gauge the feeling of the fans.

If that's the case, then my feelings are:

1) If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
2) If you feel an overwhelming urge to fix it, then, well, this is probably the time to do it, with a new coach, new era, new identity, etc.
3) If we're having new uniforms, then make them true burgundy and gold.
4) Incorporate some of the classic elements of old Skins' uniforms (gold pants, for example)
5) Avoid the trendy, futuristic designs that have infected a lot of teams' unis lately. No armpit swooshes, no italics or weird fonts for players' names, etc.
6) Any new uniform should somehow feel old-school, classic, and tough.

They are talking about changing the jersey, not the entire uniform..

Keep everything as is except take the yellow OFF the facemask.Has always made the helmet look like a Walmart special.
