    it's funny, but my entire life I've always basically flipped those colors in my head. I always thought burgundy was the color with the purplish hue to it and maroon was the dark pure red.

    I like this too. I'm a Clemson Tigers fan (draft Spiller), and this year they brought back the larger Tiger Paw on the Helmets. During the Bowden years, the Paw got smaller and smaller. The new coach (Swinney) made the Paw larger, and brought back traditional stripes for the pants (jerseys will follow this coming season).
