Yeah. Like you said, Caron was a class act and deserves a better shot, plus, having no Stevenson is awesome. Adding Gooden will help more defensively on the Power Forward end. While Josh Howard is also good for defense, his attitude will be more of a concern. Not a bad trade.

Sorry to see Caron go, he truly has been a class act during his time here. I'm not a Wizards fan,but being in the DMV area. I've gotten a chance to watch the Wiz over the years. It will be really sad when Antwan leaves(unless it's to the Celtics) it really will be the end of an era.

For all the grief that Eddie Jordan received here in D.C. It is my hope that Leonsis or whomever takes over the team FIRES Ernie Grunfield ASAP. Just being a Skins fan has been hell the past few years. I feel sorry for those who are fans of the Wizards and the Skins

Try being a Orioles Wizard and Redskins fan who was born in 89 .. ****.

But on a lighter note. Good for Caron, one of my favorite players in the league so if the Rockets don't do anything in the West I will be pulling for Caron to get a ring. Don't really care for Howard or any of the Mavs, lets just get this rebuilding process going for **** sake.

I feel your pain. Born the same year, except I'm more of a Nats fan than an O's fan (which is worse) - though I still like the O's. But hey, at least we're not Cleveland sports fans.

Cleveland has the best basketball player in the world playing for them. They will win several championships in basketball over the next 10 years.

While I agree with this, they also have a bunch of other terrible sports teams, and still haven't won a championship with the best basketball player in the world yet.

When considering baseball, basketball, and football (since clev. doesn't have a hockey team)

I'd be willing to bet they win more than one championship in the next five years (as long as LeBron re-signs)....we will win ZERO championships in the next five years

    Capitals? Best record in NHL.

The Cleveland LeBrons have won exactly ZERO titles with LeBaby. ZERO. And if you think he is playing more than 30 more regular season games in Ohio, you're mistaken.

“I just wanted to say to the fans … in D.C. and across the nation, they’ve been great for us, cheering us on. At away games they show up in the masses and at home they really made it feel like a home-field advantage. We said this when I was in college, ‘We got a chance to sit at the dinner table and experience success and it was a good meal. But now we want to go back to get dessert.’ We’ll be ready to get dessert next year.”

Robert Griffin’s last words at the press conference.

This might be rooted more in emotion than logic, but I don't like this. I've been rooting for these guys for years, and I don't want to stop.
"Whilst" is a word only used by pseudointellectuals trying to make themselves sound intelligent.
