No - I'm just trying to keep all the upgrade info in here in one neat package...

    Your effort is appreciated!

I figured the 'ST deadline' and the 'upgrade' threads are now similar enough to merge, thus you bumped this one.

On the ticket front, did anyone see todays WP story about the Nats dumping group tix into the hands of Philly fans?

That stings bc I was one of the suckers who stood in line for opening day tix only to learn of the supposed sellout 5 mins after they went on sale.

Well, I wanted to keep this focused on upgrades, partly because of the supposed deadline(s), but also because of what happens when the upgrades start happening. Who gets upgraded? Who doesn't? Where do they get upgraded? What about calling in and negotiating an upgrade with an unpaid invoice and credit card in hand? I'd like to collect these answers here for future use by the membership.

On Monday I got a call from the TO letting me know that I have been selected for the auto upgrade. I currently have four tickets in the third row of the 400's and paid before the 3/1 deadline. I was told by the rep that I could purchase up to two more tickets at that time, but I declined. They said i would be notified of my seat location and receive the invoice in June or July.

Was there an upgrade offer pending upon your purchase of the two extra seats?

Nope. The first part of the conversation was only about the upgrade. It wasn't until later on that he offered the extra tickets. After I declined the extra tickets was when told me when I would get the invoice and the location of my seats.

I was amazed when I looked at my first post and realized that I didn't say what the upgrade was. I was told that I would be moving to the lower level, either endzone or corner. My wife and I were just talking a few weeks ago about maybe changing our auto upgrade option to allow them to split our tickets (since we have 4) so we would have a better chance to move down, but I am glad we didn't do that.

Where were your seats upstairs? Mid-field? Back of endzone? Where?

I am adding this to the OP.

    Thanks

I was told by a member that he was able to successfully upgrade his seats on Saturday, Draft Day, April 24, by talking in person with a TO employee. He had not paid his 2010 invoice, and the TO guy told him his old seats were "taken" and no longer available. However, he was allowed to move anyway to an available pair of seats one section closer to mid-field in the LL. He purchased these on the spot, in person, with his credit card.
