Exactly. I think this would be a good move for us as he would be a sure fire starter and producer at RT and could play OT if needed.

Pashos is younger and better, IMO. Pashos's status of signing doesn't look good so maybe this is their Plan C. Plan A=Clifton, Plan B=Pashos & Plan C=Simms. Who knows. Allen/Shanny are totally different in their approach than bugeyes was.

Clifton has ALREADY signed with the Packers. However, Pashos would be a solid signing. Perhaps a veteran like Pashos would push Heyer into lifting some more weights and improving his footwork.

They could play next to each other (RG/RT) or at each end.

The OL is going to be a work in progress. It has been neglected for far too long. The replacements should have been drafted long ago. We'll be rebuilding it over the next few years. While they develop, we are going to need vets to ease the transition.

RG - BMW/Sims
RT - Pashos

It's not an awful line, with the right side being the only real improvements. I'd still love to get Okung or trade down and get Campbell/Bulaga... but I like that we're at least looking to address our issues on the OL.
