I'm stunned. All my thoughts and prayers go out to his family, and I hope that he found peace at the end.

I've barely been here these past few years, but I always made sure to read bubba's posts. He was a rock from the first day I set foot on this place. I always thought of him as a unique blend of jolly yet appropriately cantankerous. I will miss him.

Even through his absence, you don't actually fear the worst until it's confirmed. What a tragically young age to pass.

I, like many others in this place we call "home", had my differences with bubba, not least over the outgoing QB. But I always respected the man's stance in believing his view was right and never shying away from the counter argument. And the sterling work he did in bringing us every last scrap of breaking news will be sorely missed.

I'd be lying to say I classed him as an on-line friend, but I aren't when I say this place won't be quite the same without him, and he'll be missed.

My deepest condolences to the family he leaves behind. My prayers go out to you.

Wow, terrible news, very sorry to hear of Bubba's passing. I always thought his posts were the best thing about the ATN forum, his news-gathering skills were unsurpassed, and there was no more loyal Redskins fan. I liked him.

I'm in shock. I feel like I lost a friend. Man, Bubba was one of the first people I remember on the boards, and there were only a handful that were always guaranteed to be around but he was one of them. I always enjoyed listening to what he had to say and agreed with him 99% of the time.

God bless you brother, you'll be missed and remembered.
