Default NFL Network: Top Ten Most Snakebitten Franchises

It comes on in about twenty minutes (10am est), I don't know if the Redskins will be on here, but I can only assume.

Since we have 3 Lombardis, I doubt it.

Cards would've been on there before Warner.

    Lions, Bengals...

The Skins have been mediocre for a while, but considering we won three SBs in a relatively short amount of time, I don't think I'd refer to us as snakebitten.

My list would start with teams like Cleveland, Detroit, Minnesota, Philly. Maybe you throw the Rams and Cardinals on there too. Who else?

If it was post '00 I'm sure we'd be on there. We have a great history in the NFL( 3 SB's, 5 appearances). The fact that it's gone to **** recently does not mean we are a historicaly bad franchise IMO. Especially when you have teams like CLE, CIN, DET, AZ ( pre - Warner )

I figured we would at least make one of the higher spots on the list, but if the Bills are number ten, I think we're off this list.

If we're talking overall history, Skins definitely wouldn't be on the list.

If we're talking past 15 years or so.... then they'd be one of the top teams on the list.

snake-bitten, imo, would be that you made smart moves that were ruined by injury and bad luck.

    just plain stupid isn't "snakebitten"

#1 has to be the Lions. #2 has to be the Browns. If the curse of Bobby Lane is still going on Detroit, they will definitely be #1.

Aside from the Taylor tragedy, all of the Skins' woes were self-inflicted. Having a bad owner and a terrible GM does not make the team snakebitten, just the fans.

How could anyone think the Skins would be on a list of the Top 10 Snakebitten Franchise? Three Super Bowls,......nuff said.

Nah Ive seen that show..Skins are not on there...We appear on "Top 10 Greatest Superbowl Ever" 2 times on the list though...

This list has successful teams that have gotten close to winning a SB but could not do it....teams that just have a long history of sucking...and teams that have just embarrassingly failed...

    Browns....

    Saints (before SB win)....

    Bengals....

Vikings(They are def. the most cursed franchise in my opinion..sooo many disappointments in its history)...

    Chargers....

    Jets....

This list seems to be more about history than recent, I guess it just seems alot worse when you're a fan watching it happen.

I hope to see the Superbowl one, they showed a Redskins SB last night, but of course its one we lost.

If we had gotten that fumble on the punt late in the 1st quarter, maybe we'd have won.

In recent history the Browns have been bad, but they were so dominant back when dinosaurs roamed the earth that Cleveland still has a top ten win loss record.

Cards, Lions, Bills are my top picks and I'll throw Atlanta in as an honorable mention.

    Props to Soup
