    we have 5 or 6 guys that skew that number like crazy. were not that old of a team. i expect galloway, sellers, daniels, chris draft, and mike furrey to all be gone next year.

    Meh these don't mean anything.

    Redskins = ?
    Steelers = Average
    Browns = Awful
    Vikings = Superbowl Contenders
    Ravens = Superbowl Contenders
    Patriots = Average
    Raiders = Awful

    Etc, etc, etc.... You have to look at content, not age. Some teams have wine, and others milk.

    I didn't see anything to be alarmed about either, but thought some might find it interesting... I'd like to see this ranking done with the starting lineup rather than the whole roster...

    If we are being selective, lets just includes our kicker & long snapper and remover Fletcher & Sellers.

    Probably still leaves us top but what the hell

    Even without the guys you listed we're still old.

    4/5s of our O-line is old or aging.

    Our RBs are old.

    Our starting QB is old.

    Not a huge surprise here. It's very difficult to have a young team when you only have 4 or 5 draft picks a year.

    Winning makes stats like these meaningless.

    T.O. would raise that number for the Skins a bit.

    Not a heck of a lot of difference on that scale is there?

    Since there is only about a two year difference between the youngest and oldest team, it's kind of hard to get excited about that. However, I think it would be better if they waited until the rosters were cut down.

    Everyone is aging ... damn . I am older now than when I started writing this sentance .

    Age is not an issue and people get into the mindset that the best NFL players are all in collage . You have to compile draft picks to be sucessful yo need to be starting the youngest team in the NFL because they are hungry and energetic and and and ... it is rubish

    Youth has its advantages . I would prefer my RB would be 21 and not 41, because as people age they slow down (generally) but I also want my RB to know what it takes to be successful in the NFL . Someone who has the drive to get to the top and the desire to stay there .

    The oldest member of the OL is Rabach and 33 for a C is not that old . Hicks may win the RG slot but I think the team were looking at Mike Williams there but now we have Rienheart who may have a shot or Will Montgomery.... and age is not an issue on the OL, injuries are .

    in fact I am more worried about Trent Williams being the weak spot compared to the apparently over the hill Brown or any of those interior guys .

    And these listings really dont make any sense in July when we still have 80 players on the roster most of which are not going to make the final roster ... this is the typical summer I am borred article ...

    Oh no! Our average age is 27 instead of the league average of 26! We might as well cancel the season

    Exactly, big deal, a 2 year difference between the youngest team? Now if we were averaging 29-30 years, obviously thats a problem, especially not having alot of draft picks next year, but I'm not concerned.
