Hard to believe it's been a quarter of a century since 'Graceland' was released. What that dude did back in '85/ '86, and the boundary's he broke down really cannot be understated. When you take everything in context with the time, and just what was achieved and the legacy it left; it's one of the most phenomenal albums of all time.

Seriously man, how happy do the guys of Ladysmith Black Mambazo look on that video? And who would ever heard of them had it not been for Simon saying screw this World boycott of South Africa because of apartheid. African music rocks and I'm not only going to Africa to showcase it, I'm gona' bring these guys back to the States to record. Honestly, it can't be understated what barriers he both crossed and broke down back in the mid '80's when nobody else would.

Talking of people looking happy, two all time greats a month or so back in London just jamming and having an absolute blast before the darn powers that be poulled the plug because of a late night licence overrun. Not the best sound quality, but you can get the atmosphere.

Starts slow, but gets going. That dub-step bass thing is really cool.
