    Default Eagles Maclin goes down with knee injury

    Jeremy Maclin-WR-Eagles Aug. 3 - 4:00 pm et

    Jeremy Maclin was carted off the Eagles' practice field Tuesday with an apparent knee injury.

    Maclin has a history of knee problems dating back to Mizzou, though the extent of this injury is unknown. The 2009 first-round pick needed assistance walking out of the cart and into the locker room. Teammate Hank Baskett observed that the injury "killed the mood" at practice. Stay tuned for updates.

    Hyperextended knee doesn't sound that bad, actually. Hopefully there isn't any more serious damage when they do the MRI.

    The Eagles are initially calling the injury suffered by Jeremy Maclin on Tuesday "a hyperextended left knee."
    This doesn't sound so bad, but an MRI could always reveal a more serious injury. So we'll wait on guessing any timetables for return. By all accounts, Maclin looked to be in serious pain on the field, and the Eagles huddled for prayer after practice. Expect Maclin to at least miss the rest of the week

    They were pretty much done, but Reid called an early end to practice after he was carted off.

    I just caught one about a month ago playing flag football. Xrays were negative but had to stay off it for 2 days then back to work cause I dont have an NFL contract. Still not 100% but have been playing fball and bball since.
