Dougie was traded to the ratbirds because of injuries to 3 cornerbacks in practice

So what is he supposed to say as a guy who is barely in the league? "Um, ya guys, their practices suck, and Ray Lewis is fat" ?

Their practices are probably tougher than ours; I have no problem with what he said. But I know that our practices are tougher this year than the last two.

For some reason the phrase "dont work harder work smarter" comes to mind. What the Shanman is doing is brilliant

I don't think its what he said, in of itself. Its rather the perception that running your team in the ground in TC makes them tougher. The modern game with all of the OTAs, Minicamps...etc, no longer warrants such practices. This is why you see so many guys getting injured, because of all of the constant over-usage on the body.

oh well, I don't think there is much correlation between toughness of practices and success during the season. Talent will win games.

I was thinking the same thing lol...So the Ravens have harder practices than the Skins do right now. That's nice.

I'd be happier if he had said the Ravens practices were easier than ours. Or hadn't mentioned either as being harder.

I think it's a little too late to instill toughness in your players. They either have it by now or they don't.

The real question is why is anyone looking to Doug Dutch for a quote about anything?

Feels like we are about 14 minutes into Dutch's 15.
