Always like that. There were Ecuadorians from Raleigh traveling up to NY to see their home nation play.

If we had a USA friendly around here(and I could afford it) I'd be there whether its Wednesday or Saturday.

I hate fair weather fans that refuse to go to games on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, or Sunday.

I never liked the US playing in New York/Jersey.

My point is that if we want Jurgen to build the US soccer team back up its up to our fans to be there to believe in it. Talent is not the only thing that separates the US from the great soccer countries.

It's not always so cut and dry that because we're the host they'll play where WE want. Contracts have to be signed and there are many motivations on both sides. The US wants to play decent (read: above CONCACAF quality) teams and decent teams will come with demands. Home and homes. They want to play in front of their fans, especially in an expat magnet like the US. If we play where Ecuador wants then we can take some off their appearance fee. Or sometimes, the president of Ecuador's FA just wants a free vacation in NY.

Face it, these friendlies are meaningless in the grand scheme of things. We can pad wins or we can get used to playing in "hostile" environments. All the games that matter (read: WC) will not be USA friendly. It'll be liked this, mixed crowds.

I believe that was a foul. I don't get the challenge there.

I for the life of me can't understand why Tim Ream keeps getting called up. Dude is horrible and has obviously regressed.

Much like the Redskins last year, this year is NOT the year to judge JK effectiveness.

    He's experimenting and testing guys.

Wins are great fun, but not the goal right now.

I don't care about wins or losses but it's obvious Ream isn't working out.

I trust JK to realize that too. But Im also fine with him playing him in meaningless games to know for sure.

No wins aren't but a goal would be nice. 3 out of our last 5 games the US hasn't scored. Thats a problem.

So after x games ... was there someone Bob wasn't playing that is such a difference maker? Has the formation change made that much of a difference? Has the styptic play made a meaningful change in the end product?

Again we can't score and can't defend. No Tim Howard and we'd be getting crushed.you need to look at this as a coach and see he has no difference makers out there. Donovan is a non factors because he'll be pretty old by the next wc.
