David De Gea looks lost out there. That injury to Lindegraad is going to hurt. 3-0 Chelsea.

Manchester United/Chelsea is a great appetizer for what's to come later. Hope the Super Bowl is nearly as good as this.

Great match. Sir Alex still has some trouble with De Gea. I know the own goal wasn't really his fault, but I think the third goal could have been stopped. Hope the Super Bowl is as good as this match.

Referees handing Man U games make odd words stick out in my head. After Chris Foy it was 'horrendous', today it is 'atrocity.'

The second pk was a bad call by the ref. Very entertaining game to watch though.

Talking about the weekend games, here's the US #1 doing his best Stevie Wonder impression at Wigan Saturday:

The goal keeping gaffe in this match always raises a smile

What a squad we had back then with the likes of Dalglish (Celtic/Liverpool), Joe Jordan (Leeds), Souness (Liverpool), McQueen (Man U). the list went on and on.

Crazy crowd too. Used to go to games at Hampden Park back then with 100,000+ crowds cranked up on booze!

It appears as if Fabio Capello is "resigning" as England's manager. Can't say I'm surprised after his comments opposing the decision to strip John Terry of his captaincy.
