Ren, I'm with you on that one. I'm actually still debating if I want to do the standing room only tickets, but I think those are $50.

I'd rather wait for a WC qualifier. At least then I'm paying big bucks for a meaningful game. Probably won't have any at Fedex, but they're worth the travel as well.

Ren on stubhub I see some uppers for $24 and standing room for $39. But again, it's a friendlies match, and not a World Cup Qual match.

And we did win, so we do deserve to advance.
You must be so proud. You beat the currently 7th place team in the USL after no penalty call on a reckless tackle that any other ref would have called. I found it ironic though. Last year our run ended in the semis because of penalty called when we didn't even touch the player and got all ball. However, the game was in Chicago so you knew they'd call it for them. That penalty ended up being the difference. Needless to say when it wasn't called last night I wasn't surprised.

I will say this. I was shaking my head last night at the actions of quite a few DCU fans. Everytime they come to Richmond they treat Kicker fans like trash. Honestly, I understand why the Kicker fans have grown to despise MLS and DCU. Last night I saw on more than one occasion some 30-40 yr old cussing out a 8-10 for waving a flag in the Kicker supporter section nearby. Now I know DCU fans are not like that in general from all the years of going to RFK. However, those ones that come down and start **** have really caused Kicker fans to hate DCU. Honestly, if I was from hear and didn't grow up with DCU and that what I saw every time we played them here I'd probably feel the same way as them. I remember last night one particular douchebag(probably about 35) yelling "**** you" at one of our youngers fans(Kid is about 9. Plays for Kickers youth team. Comes to the games with his parents every game) all because he was waving the River City Red Army flag. The guy continue to hurl crap at the kid and yet the kid just responded, "I'm just supporting my club". Now given Socks came over to shake our hands in the Kicker supporter section(probably felt bad for some of the actions of the fans) but that crap has no place in our game. Our fans are passionate but as very family oriented. I'm amazed how patient our fans were with the DCU's fans. I think honestly some of the DCU fans scattered around were kind of ashamed so they decided to sit with the main crowd away from the DCU supporter section. I was honestly embarrassed. I almost wore my DCU scarf last night with my jersey but I was very glad I didn't. Also setting over multiple stink bombs in the stadium and leaving them in our bleachers so everyone gets gassed out all game ain't cool either. Atleast when bombs are set off at RFK they give them to security.

jesus RR, i don't know how you could call yourself a mutual fan after that rant. you would be happy for DCU if you were a mutual fan but it sounds like you are 90% kickers fan and 10% DCU fan

I'll be honest, some Barra are dicks but like everything else you can't judge everyone by a select few idiots. I mean ****, there are ****head Redskins fans but everyone isn't like that.

And RR, Ren meant nothing by it. She was just giving you a hard time bro.

Yea I was just messing with you man. No need to get all riled up.

As for the d-bag DCU fans, everyone knows there are d-bag fans of every team. The fact is, you've been to DCU games and you've been in the supporters section so you know how we treat all opposing fans. Sounds like you need to complain to the Kickers security. I've witnessed multiple d-bag DCU fans be removed even from the Barra, and let's face it you have to be a pretty special level of dick to get removed from that section.

On a second note, I actually think it's good that there is a strong rivalry between fans of the two teams. People should be passionate about their club, and if DCU fans thought nothing of the Kickers then they wouldn't have made the trip down to Richmond. Again, that's not to excuse people being straight up *******s, but that is a security issue. Those people hopefully would and have been kicked out of RFK and they should be kicked out of your stadium as well.

As for the smoke bombs/flares - the only reason they are passed to security at RFK is because security comes over and takes them. Believe me, if security didn't ask for them, they flares/smoke bombs would stay lit in the stands. Again, not excusing anything, but you should seriously talk to security if these are issues at your stadium.

And you know you're always welcome to come tailgate with us at a DCU game.

Were you at the game last night? Supporter wise its wasn't one of DCU's finer moments. The fact that I was at the point of confronting the DCU fans(The cussing out the little kid thing was about my breaking point) says a lot. I've said it multiple times in my post that I know its not DCU fans in general. I'm just saying you can hardly blame the Kicker fans for their extreme deslike of DCU when fans do things like trying to intimidate kids. If I was in the DCU section I wouldn't feel any different. If I saw a Kicker fan trying to intimidate DCU kid I'd be just as pissed and most likely tell off the Kicker fan. The one guy who was just ridic then kisses his scarf like he made the club proud by intimidating a little kid who was just supporting his hometown team. I was just thinking "Dude if you think scaring some kid and cussing him out is what DCU is about you got it all wrong buddy". I know how DCU fans treat opposing fans but its ALWAYS royal dicks that come down here. Unfortunately the ones just there to support DCU get droned out by the dumb***es a lot.

Also GO USA!!! (please don't give creamed right before qualifying)

Yeah this is terrible. Usually ESPN2 HD quality is 10X better than this.
