URGENT - Need 4 Uppers - Redskins/Ravens - I've been screwed by StubHub

Need to buy 4 Uppers to the Redskins / Ravens tomorrow night. I have a party of eight and tried buying two sets of four from StubHub since last Saturday and they could only deliver on one set of four. Need to pick up 4 more upstairs or the rest of my family is hosed.

Section doesn't matter........looking to pay $25 per seat and can meet around Landover tomorrow afternoon or at the game for exchange. Can Paypal a deposit today to hold em and show my commitment. Will pay cash tomorrow in person for the balance.

Can anyone assist?

Yep - this is a prime example - the stubhub guarantee is crap. Sure, they give you your money back, but so what? That doesn't get you into the stadium.

If I was you, I'd try to snipe something on eBay, and I'd up my per seat price.

How did Stubhub screw you?

Ordered two sets of four (from two different sellers) last Saturday. The one Seller confirmed and shipped four to me within two days. They second order was auto-canceled due to Seller not confirming within 48 hours of my initial order.

Stubhub then places a subbed order (same section....two row down from my original four) and then yesterday they tell me they can't get that Seller to confirm! They weren't willing to pay the difference on any higher priced seats, so they canceled the subbed order and told my I have to search elsewhere.

I was given two $10 off FanCode Coupon for use on my next purchase! Really! Give me a break.

Funny thing is.....I've never used Stubhub before. This was my first experience. Guess I won't go back, huh!

Next time, call stubhub. Ask them to call the seller in advance of your purchase to confirm that he has the tickets in hand and he's ready to ship.

Doing this alleviates this whole mess.

You can't blame stubhub for a lame seller, that's like blaming ebay for the same thing. The blame goes to the individual seller. Hopefully stubhub won't let those people sell again, but know one will know that. At least they offered you $20 because in reality they didn't have to offer anything.

It's garbage. It is no better than a legitimate ticket broker's guarantee, except that with a legitimate ticket broker, you're dealing with professionals, not flakes.

I've been burned before just like the OP. I was left standing in the rain without tix. That's why I call, and have them call the seller every single time I order on stubhub. That's really the only way to go.

If you just take the guarantee for face value, then it may appear you're completely covered until you read the fine print.

I agree, if you don't read all the rules behind the guarantee it can be misleading. In reality, what isn't like that in today's world.

That really sucks jarresc. At least viewers in this thread have learned something useful from your misfortune.

The good news is that you shouldn't have trouble seating four people together in the 400 level bc there are so many no shows in preseason, particularly in the corners and endzone.

Jarresc, best way now to do it is to buy in the parking lots. You wont pay more than 10 per ticket
