I understand that but to say he washed up or discount the fact he did win 3 times last year is ridiculous. He is second all time in career wins needs 9 to pass Snead which I firmly believe he will do. Think it took Snead thirty years to accumulate that win total tigers Won 74 times in 17 years!
14 majors needing 5 to pass and four to tie, Jack did his 18 in 25 years, Tigers accomplishments are extraordinary having a Dow couple of years and he still is on pace to set all major winning records on the PGA.

I would rather have Tiger contending and a point of dicussion than the fans talking about the "Player De Jour" such as Trevor Immelman, YE Yang, or some other flash in the pan bust
When Tiger left, there was parity because there was no mainstay in the game. The closest the game has had to mainstays during Tiger's absence has been Rory and Phil. Other than them, many have come and gone. I still receive no explanation even though I've demanded many times why golfers win one major and then fade away from relevance. People like Immelman, Yang, Kaymer, and Garcia.
Tiger is an iconic institution of the game and should be respected as such. Yet others dare to disparage him and trash his good name. Incidents happened several years ago. He can date who he wants, like Lindsey Vonn. He's the man

Jerk fails to recognize the greatness that is Tiger Woods
"When he's on [form] he's impressive but when he's not, he's not," said Poulter, who was rested for the afternoon fourballs, potentially inflaming his edgy relationship with Woods.
But he also endorsed the US team's decision to send his beaten opponent out again for the afternoon fourballs: "He's Tiger Woods. He's the guy who gets them out there fired up. It's a brave captain to leave him out."

I don't have a vested interest in golf, but I do watch the Majors, and would defdinitely like to see Tiger on top again.

Due to the fog that wiped out an entire day of golf, the Farmers Insurance Open was never going to end on Sunday.
Tiger Woods just made it look as if it was over.
Hands thrust in the pockets of his rain pants, Woods walked off Torrey Pines in the chill of twilight with a six-shot lead and only 11 more holes standing in the way of winning on the public course along the Pacific Ocean for the eighth time in his pro career.
He drove the ball with superb control in the third round on his way to a 3-under 69 to build a four-shot lead after three rounds. He lost control with his driver in the fourth round and still managed three birdies in seven holes.
''All we can do tomorrow is go out and try to make him think about it a little bit and see what happens,'' said Nick Watney, one of two former winners at Torrey Pines who faced the tough task of trying to make up six shots on Woods.
CBS carries coverage at 4pm because tiger is in the lead for ratings. If any other guy is on top of the leaderboard, i bet they leave this coverage on Golf channel, which i must is a great channel. I would rank that behind NFL network as best network dedicated to 1 sport
Golf Channel not available on basic cable on FIOS
Was available on basic cable on Comcast in Seattle
Decent network. Remember watching Tiger win Memorial on replay and freaked outEpic shot

Dude, save the predictions. People have been saying he's gonna win The Masters, and every other major, for several years now. You guys remind me of all those Dale Earnhardt Jr fans a few years back, saying he was gonna win a race each week, and he never won any race for several years. You don't realize that by predicting this crap every single year, you're bound to be right at some point. Seriously, it's hollow. Get back to me when he actually WINS one.

Who cares about his personal life? That issue was so, so, 2008. He's moved on, apologized, it's old news.

He better make sure Lindsey Vonn is realA "source close to Lindsey" told the Reporter that the two "met through the ski community, because Tiger is an active skier. Lindsey has been teaching Tiger’s kids Sam and Charlie how to ski.”
And a "Tiger source" added that even though Woods and Vonn are often on separate continents, "they constantly talk on the phone. And Tiger has made more of a commitment to Lindsey lately — he’s pulling out all the stops.”
