This. If nothing else, he gives us a proven receiver who can be a possession receiver that could actually open things up for Moss.

I like the addition if it happens. McNabb needs another Vet that knows what to do when things break down.

He's by no means a deep threat but considering we need a legitimate #2 opposite Moss. After Moss the #2 is a 38 year old Galloway, whom we'd have to hope can still play at a high level even though he hasn't really stuck with a team in the past couple if year, granted he did show good ability during camps and preseason it's still scary to hedge your bets on him as #2. Armstrong has had a strong showing, and hopefully he can keep it up, but how that's a lot to throw on his shoulders right away. Roydell Williams hasn't been in the NFL for the past 2 years and Devin Thomas has shown anything but the ability to be consistent. So that leaves us with the Legend Brandon Banks who would probably break in half when hit by a safety.

Housh would be a reliable target to keep drives alive, and is a big redzone target that we'd need.

Would take a lot of heat off of Moss...

At best, he'll get a very incentive-laden contract in the same mold of what Larry Johnson got from us. For the type of return we could get from him (a very sure handed, possession guy who could allow Armstrong to work the slot) I'd pull the trigger in a heartbeat.
interesting you say this b/c last season he still had 79 catches for 900+ yds. If that is aging and "washed up", then gimme him!!

This is a pure class player.

And he gets it done big time.

    Make it happen, immediately.

If this is true, I am not too excited about this. Housh is well past his prime. And, doesn't add anything to the WR mix. Personally, I think the Skins should have the courage and play youth on both sides of the ball.

Our team comprises of a ton of players who are in their 30's ... and, this has an adverse effect on team speed. We have to be one of the OLDEST and SLOWEST teams in the NFL.

IF we are to sign someone, lets try and see if we can Vincent Jackson. Perhaps, work out a deal to get VJ and their OL holdout. It would improve our offense immediately. Their OL holdout is a probowler, and VJ is a playmaker!

Put Housh out wide, Armstrong/DT opposite him and Santana in the slot. Could be something.

My preference would be TJ signs with Oakland Raiders. And, we in turn acquire DH Bey either because he is released or trade for him.

Bey is a burner and can help free up Santana.

[PS: I know this won't happen. And, is just wishful thinking on my part.]

Reports in Seattle say you can time his speed using a hourglass...

His speed has fallen off a cliff.

Oh come on, get it done already!!!

Why on earth would TJ be considering the Raiders? Can't be a money issue because Seattle is on the hook, right?

    Come on Bruce baby...
