BTW, this fantasy team is mostly incredible. I'm not even sure exactly how it came together so well, but it involved some trade devilry. Here's the roster if anyone cares:

    PG: Stephen Curry
    SG: Dwyane Wade
    SF: Kevin Durant
    PF: Dirk Nowitzki
    C: Al Horford
    G: Joe Johnson
    F: David Lee
    UTIL: Michael Beasley
    UTIL: Jason Terry
    UTIL: Javale McGee
    Bench: Gilbert Arenas
    Bench: Richard Jefferson
    Bench: Ben Gordon

Richard Jefferson was the only guy I picked up on waivers. I did this in an auction league and got lucky there was a moron in the league who basically ended up trading me Durant and Nowitzki for a final total of Blake Griffin and Tim Duncan. (He traded me those two for Wade and Joe Johnson, then traded me those two back for Duncan and Griffin). Lee and Nowitzki and Curry have underachieved so far, but they'll come around eventually... I hope. But it's a H2H league so I've still been able to win matchups from scoring so many points, shooting so well, and eking out enough steals, blocks, and threes to come out on top. Unfortunately, I'm getting creamed in rebounds and assists every week.
Nice, I am 10 team auction keeper league (year 4 right now). I kept Durrant for like $40 and Curry for $1. Yea, I got him as a rookie for $1 . . . . ****ing awesome.

My Big 5. When healthy - unstoppable.
    John Wall
    Stephen Curry
    Kevin Durant
    Kevin Love
    David Lee

    My role players
    Brandon Roy
    JaVale McGee
    Jameer Nelson
    Richard Jefferson

    My blah
    Jamal Crawford
    Anderson Varejao
    Al Thornton

    IR - Yao Ming

Picked up Yao on waivers and threw him on IR. No risk, potential reward.

David Lee, Wall and Brandon Roy are killing me this week. I am really scared about Roy . . . .his injury seems serious.

I search the waiver wire daily to change up my blah players, they change weekly.

True, I guess that's one downside. I'd consider it minor, though.

And the Wizards are different how? I mean, I've been a fan of this team since the 1977 season when I was nine, and pretty much I'm sick of the whole Wizards situation every year. We're the Clippers east, maybe not as sucky, but with only a couple of years when we had Webber/Howard/Strickland, the team has been a nightmare. I've felt this way about the Wizards just as much as the Redskins.

With the history of the Wizards, I'm on a "I'll believe it when I see it," approach. The Redskins are making me turn that way lately also.

I believe they would simply because basketball is a much more mainstream sport and will be for a long time. I agree that the Caps will be more popular as long as there is such a big success discrepancy.
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

I mean there are the three years we made the playoffs with Gilbert. Went to the 2nd round of the playoffs, were #1 in the East at the all star break. Then **** fell apart but still. It was fun while it lasted. Now we have a new legitimate star in John Wall. I think basketball is a little different than football where one draft pick can change the entire state of a franchise. I guess that can apply in football where you get a Peyton Manning or luck into a Tom Brady but it's a lot rarer. Plus new ownership with Ted. Things are exciting right now. And another big difference is the fanbase. You older Wizard fans can be annoying Debbie Downers but it seems, to me anyway, that us younger fans are still optimistic and excited for the team. On the other hand, the entire Redskin fanbase across the age spectrum has lost it's ****ing mind.

If Leonsis doesn't want to go back to Bullets, then I think Minutemen at least sounds better than both Wizards and those other stupid suggestions like Generals (the jokes will never cease), Justice, Diplomats, and Agents (one of the worst suggestions I've heard, which, of course, means LaVar and Dukes loved it). Any thoughts?
They're going back to Bullets. Lock.

I'm giving him a week or two before the whole "out of shape because of offseason injury" excuse goes away.

Gilbert is a freaking machine. Pisses me off thinking what we missed out for three years. Why is McGee doing behind the back moves? BLOCKED BY MCGEE! HAHa nice sequence. Is there a lot of people at the game?

Wow what a make up block by McGee. That's a game changer there.
