I wouldn't mind Erik Gordon at SG, with NO still being in ownership limbo, he may available even though he is restricted.

he is supposedly going to go home and play for the Pacers. I definitely wouldn't mind Gordon; Milsap might be another good target.

I'm watching this Heat Spurs game and remembering how much I wanted Kawhi Leonard in the draft. Not saying that he's an all star, but he does look nice guarding Lebron and he's getting some nice shots off too.

I'm talking about in the 2011-12 season..you can EASILY make a case for McGee being a top-3 center in the East.

Only two Centers in the East that I'd take over McGee RIGHT NOW are Dwight and Bogut.
Yeah, they do. Javale has made a few strides, that's fine, but he's too dumb of a player and I see no signs of that changing.

I highly, highly doubt you'll find anyone who isn't a Wizards fan agreeing with you that Javale is a top-3 center in the East. Yeah, you can cite statistics like blocks, etc. That's all well and good, except when you consider how many points he gives up because of his willingness to (still) sell out for virtually every block.

There are many centers in the East right now I'd take over McGee without batting an eye and I hope EG doesn't break the bank on him, because I promise, like Nick Young this past off season, he won't have very many suitors.

Dude if Kwame and Oden can constantly get 10-12 per year deals JaVale get the same. He's 7 feet, A monster shot blocker and a good rebounder and did I mention 7 feet?

We are not talking about Nick Young a streaky shooter that hasn't learned how too pass the ball there are plenty of those in the NBA and the D league.

Agreed. A legit 7 footer that can give you 12 and 10 a night is worth much more than a SG that put up 16 and isn't particularly good at anything else. It's a question of scarcity and there simply are wing players to be had with that level of production. If Nick Young was a 24ppg player things would be different. He isn't.

He'll command a contract similar to Marc Gasol. I think it will be slightly lower.

The team will still need a starting SG, SF, and PF and one of them will need to be occupied by a 20+ ppg player or someone that potentially will become one. No such player is available via free agency. Oh joy more rookies.

Only the wizards could make a deal this stupid on the heels of the Josh Howard pickup 2 years ago.

We'll grind that axe, for a long time!

If the basketball gods have any bit of kindness in their black, spiteful hearts, they'll let us have this guy on draft day.

Would absolutely love to have him at the PF position. He looks to me like he could turn into a KG type player with range and enough quicks ball skills to attack the basket instead of simply need the ball on the block to generate offense. He needs to get rid of the unibrow though, that **** is distracting as hell.

The unibrow is probably his secret weapon. We are only watching him on TV, imagine how distracting it is for the people playing against him!

Good point. It would take me a good 5-10 minutes to stop it from snagging my attention every time it entered my field of vision.

Yes it is. When you type "Anthony Davis" into a google search, the first three suggestions that come up are "basketball," "kentucky," and "unibrow."

He's got really nice offensive potential and even higher defensive potential. Pair him with McGee and that's terrifying to try and get your shot off against inside. If we picked him up and extend McGee, between those two and Wall, Vesely, Booker, and Singleton, I think you'd have the potential to put the best defense in the NBA on the floor. Find a scoring two that can spot shoot well and I think you can make easily talk playoffs with that kind of formula, especially if that shooter is a periodic All Star a la Michael Redd or Ray Allen.
