Beal looks really good. Everyone else looks like they belong in the D-league.

I guess we'll just have to turn to Cartier Martin then. Because he's money.
As far as that stat, lets look at that. Crawford had 872 FGA's last year at an even .400 shooting percentage. Kemba Walker shot .366 on 767 FGA. Jamal Crawford .384 on 737. Antawn Jamison was .403 (the same for all intents and purposes) on 1044 FGA. The great Deron Williams was at .407 on 961 shots. Louis Williams at .407 on on 782. Caron Butler at .407 on 705. OJ Mayo .408 on 736. Danny Granger at .416 on 941. And NY was at .403 on 784 FGA
I'm not saying Crawford is great, or even a starter. But he's a young player, he can run the point, and he's a nice scoring option off the bench who can fill it up fast.

I like Crawford, I just don't think you win games with him in your starting back court. FWIW, I feel that way about every guard sans Deron Williams in that list.
I think he's a great combo guard to have coming off your bench.
Crawford is useful because he's the only other guy aside from Wall and maybe Beal that can get his own shot. You need someone who can score against a set defense. Crawford has moves. For starters he's got a decent fadeaway and turnaround jumper that he gets off pretty well. For much of the season he was also the only guy on the team with the stones to take a transition 3 last year.
We need more than just Wall to be able to create his shots because, as we see, Wall will get hurt and he has to come out from during games.
Crawford is basically young Jamaal Crawford. That's either a useful player in the right circumstance or an easy scapegoat in the wrong one.
"John Wall will never be as good as Kyrie Irving was in his first week in the NBA" - David Falk, published February 14, 2013.
Jan Vesely hasn't progressed a bit as a player. Without Wall in there he just stands around till someone bodies him out of the way.
Complete waste of a 6th pick.
Other than our pathetic backup bigs it's been a pretty entertaining game in Brooklyn. PGs are playing better and Beal is doing his thing. Okafor helps a lot and Webster continues to look far better than Ariza.
Hahahaha. Nets fans are excited about Blatche. Hopefully it also takes them five plus years to learn better.
But anyway, Wiz are a playoff team with Wall. Without, they just need to stay within striking distance
Vesely looked terrible out there. If he is a pf, he is far too small and gets thrown out of the way each possession. He seems to only be able to rebound on the perimeter. If he is a sf, then has has zero ability to shoot unless it is an alley oop. Waste of a pick. Okafor impressed me tonight.
We'll grind that axe, for a long time!
Didn't get the game here in Philly...how'd we look?
I heard Beal was cooking
"Watching RG3 today is like watching Jordan vs. the Blazers years ago. Waiting for him to shrug his shoulders as he runs by cameras." - John Keim, November 22, 2012. Thanksgiving at Dallas
Beal was nice. Still not getting enough looks for being our best offensive option. He's stuck playing with Price and Pargo because Wittman thinks it's a good idea not to play our stud SG with our probable day one PG (Mack). Other than him, Okafor was decent and Webster missed some open shots but again didn't force things and playe dwell.
Literally everyone else was complete and utter garbage. I couldn't tell you how the Nets didn't blow us out. Ariza looks uninterested, Randolph, Vesely and Barron missed numerous easy buckets and acted like sieves on defense. Pargo was respectable but Price was again horrible. No handles, bad timing, can't shoot.
Really need to get healthy.
I can't figure out how drafting a total dud like Vesely on top of the rest of EGs resume doesn't get him fired.
Ariza has been a bum for years. This shouldn't be surprising.
Vesely is disappointing. His play at the end of the year was encouraging. He looks scared right now.

I just hope Barron and Randolph are not getting any minutes during the regular season. That would be scary. I think Aliza will pick it up. But I would much rather have martin / Webster / and singleton at sf. Two scores, and singleton has been able to hit spot up 3 s at times.

No mention of Blatche scoring 18 points? I'm surprised he found a job.
