Gotta ask, I missed this game, too. ESPN has us as 9th in assists and 10th in points allowed per game. I know we suck, but I have seen good ball movement the few times I've been able to watch them. Is there any truth to the 10th in points allowed stat, or are teams just not needing to blow us out per say. Another game around 35%, you can't beat people like that.

I agree with looking for players like Beal and hopefully Wall to develop. I was expecting more from Vesley being such a high draft pick, and Booker/Seraphine/Singleton can turn out to be nice in the environment. My issue with this franchise is you don't see these young players really develop by any sort of leaps and bounds from one season to the next. It just seems like a whole lotta not as bad as last year, which tonight just got punched in the face.
We don't know what we think, we don't know what we know. All we have to go on, is what we say and what we show...

Seraphin gets into foul trouble too quick.

Indiana was +12 on the boards tonight. Booker had 8 rebounds and was the only player to get more than five. We're pretty bad on the glass.
We also played pretty good defense most of the game. Their shooting percentage doesn't show it, but they committed 20 turnovers to our 13. That's really how we stayed in the game, that and free throws.

#wizards are 0-9 for the 1st time in franchise history. Next 8 games vs teams .500 or >. When will 1st victory come?

This is the worst franchise in sports.

The schedule is about to get real rough, if we don't beat Charlotte on Saturday, I'm not seeing a win until possibly December 8th against Golden State.

Worst team in the NBA no doubt, but not the worst in sports.

We're not going to be favored against anybody. But they'll probably sneak out a win against a superior team by catching them on a bad night.

Points against is probably so low because we play such a slow pace. It takes us the entire shot clock to get a shot off most of the time.

Remember last year our first win came against OKC.

This team is a joke, F the NHL for locking out. Oh well, lose until Ernie's fired.

If we go like 9-73, we have to get the #1 pick right?

Muhammad doesn't quit. He's been battling late and got to 15 points. The game has been out of reach for a while. I like that motor and that skill level a lot.

Its tough to go 0-8 and 0-9 to start the season two years in a row. I see no upside to Ariza playing at all. Okafor could possibly be serviceable. I read this on another board, but i think it hits close to the mark:

At one point in the offseason, New Orleans needed to amnesty either Okafor, or Ariza in order to rebuild. It was guaranteed that one of those guys would have been off the books and cheap at some point later on. Yet, not only do we trade a guy whose contract was 1 year less, and worth both of them combined ( whom NO gladly amnestied), we also gave them a draft pick. And even worse... neither of them even serve a purpose on this team that (obviously) needed offensive help. Im sorry, no one can screw up this badly on accident. This is on both EG and Ted. Ted has proven to be cheap and willing to throw garbage out there, and EG has proven for years that he has no idea what he is doing. The franchise is doomed.

We'll grind that axe, for a long time!

Kyrie Irving broke his finger and is out a month. Cleveland is almost as cursed as we are. Although I don't want to hear too much complaining from them. Their fans actually had something to be proud of during the 11 years and got to a Finals.

Still it's pretty awful to have Irving, Rose, and Wall out. NBA needs all these young star PGs as much as the NFL needs its star QBs.

Had to work and missed the game.

Remember when we were predicting a 7th-8th seed?
