Wall is playing very under control tonight. No dumb mistakes. I love it. I just hope he doesn't try to do too much towards the end of the game, just like vs the Knicks.

Philly has been trying to guard Beal and Webster tight and it's opened up some really nice driving lanes for Wall.
It's so nice having wings that are a legit threat and force you to play some D on them.
Nice alley oop layup by Ves. This lineup is actually pretty good.

Wall can beat most guys one on one to the rim even if they lay off him a bit. It's the big man and/or the weak side help that shuts him down. With Beal and Webster shooting so well it's worse to leave them open behind the 3 point line than lay off them so you can help stop the drive.
Next step is getting a really good scoring big man that can force that opposing center to guard him tight. Then you have to guard everyone and someone is going to get open and score.
Though that kind of construction seems really dependent on the PG's dribble penetration and ability to score one on one.

If nothing else, Vesley continues to show he can finish an alley-oop

Wizards crapping the bed in the 4th again
I will never understand why Wittman leaves his starters on the bench so long to start the 4th.

Never like to see Wall shooting 3's with that much time on the shot clock.

So many shots are so close and going in and out for us. Combine that with great defense from Philly in the 4th, the scoring drought is no surprise.
Wall misses a layup attempt against three defenders and then jacks up a three with a new shot clock. That stuff drives me nuts.
Beal down again, he seems to be in quite a bit of pain.

Well, there goes me watching most of the Wizards games the rest of the season.
Rolled his ankle pretty good, had to be carried to the lockerroom by teammates.

Wall's having another great fourth quarter.
Lucky they called that offensive on Philly.
And then Wall hits a jumper. Don't really feel comfortable with him taking those at this juncture but not much I can do about it.

And now Beal hurt.... sigh.
DC sports...forever cursed.

This has been a brutal game for us. Everyone is getting hurt. They've just been beating us up, be nice to get this win to show for it.

OK WALL! What a confidence building shot for him! Or at least I'm hopeful
Wall willed us to this win. Blocking shots, hitting jumpers, getting to the FT line and hitting the go ahead FTs.
