yeah but that road was supposed to be blocked off - no reason that police officer should've been on that scene

This explains why there are twenty-something giant trailers in a parking lot across from my work. I had no idea Transformers 3 was filming here.

You should tell Michael Bay about how you traded Glenn Coffee for a 2nd rounder and a player. He might get a kick out of that.

    haha. That's great.

Wonder why covering the car was so important at that point.

Just another day in DC, that happens every 30 minutes in the city LOL

And supposedly...the cop on the call, was on a different channel than the cops that were blocking off the filming area..bet they all are on the same channel now heh

    Bumblebee just died man!

Some may say its just a game. But it's about heroes and tribes, loyalty and devotion. It's our commitment and our passion, our battle and our belief.

Seems a bit odd. Film-making personnel have jurisdiction over emergency vehicles and police officers ?

Wow, that Camaro got ****ed up over what seemed to be like a rather low impact crash. That's why I guess I stick with Mustangs

I think police responding to an emergency might be a little bit more important than a Michael Bay movie.

I saw this on the news a few days ago, apparently there was a red light at the intersection where the cop was pulling up to and he didn't stop. DC police protocol requires at least a rolling stop at red lights even on an emergency call.

Whether that's protocol or not, "at least a rolling stop" is simply common sense.

People frequently don't even get out of the way for Ambulances, so it would be pretty dumb for a cop to assume he can zip right through an intersection without even slowing down.
